巴山楚水凄凉地，二十三年弃置身。
怀旧空吟闻笛赋，
到乡翻似烂柯人。
沉舟侧畔千帆过，
病树前头万木春。
今日听君歌一曲，
暂凭杯酒长精神！
Banished to such desolate regions as Bashan and Chu River,
I spent 23 years in the gutter.
Remember the old friends in vain to chant the flute,
Returning from exile for a long time feels no longer the old time.
Thousands of sailboats still pass by beside the capsized ship,
In front of the withered trees, there are thousands of thriving trees.
After listening to the psalms you recited for me today,
A glass of wine to lift my spirits!
