《望海潮》（Watching The Tide: Scenery of Hangzhou City）北宋柳永词作（Created by Liu Yong of The Song Dynasty）
东南形胜，三吴都会，钱塘自古繁华。烟柳画桥，风帘翠幕，参差十万人家。云树绕堤沙，怒涛卷霜雪，天堑无涯。市列珠玑，户盈罗绮，竞豪奢。
Located in a dangerous place in southeast of China and the capital of Zhejiang Province, Qiantang River has been so prosperous since ancient times. There is a river scene of willow smoke, vividly painted Bridges, windproof curtains and green tents, and the height of the pavilions and pavilions total 100,000 homes. Towering trees surround the sandy banks of the river bank. The waves on the river are turbulent and the broad river surface stretches as far as the eye can see. The market in the streets sells a dazzling array of jewelry, and every household is full of silks and satins and other things, competing for luxury.
重湖叠巘清嘉，有三秋桂子，十里荷花。羌管弄晴，菱歌泛夜，嬉嬉钓叟莲娃。千骑拥高牙，乘醉听箫鼓，吟赏烟霞。异日图将好景，归去凤池夸！
The mountains in and around the West Lake are particularly beautiful, with osmanthus flowers fragrant in autumn and lotus flowers blooming in summer. In the day people played the fife cheerfully, and in the evening they sang while boating, and the old fishermen and the young girls gathered the lotus were all smiling. 如题，对于本词牌的创作缘起已经无从考证，本意是柳永将观潮时的感受写入后才创制的词牌。而在柳永之后，此词牌的作词者就没有沿用原作的本意。这在宋词史上也是一种规律，即词牌名在产生之时，往往词作的内容会与之相联系，但在词的逐渐发展过程中，就逐渐跟词作内容相背离。全篇的107字以及十个平韵，创作背景如下。
根据的吴熊和《柳永与孙沔的交游及柳永卒年新证》考证，此词是柳永在杭州赠资政殿学士，以及知杭州孙威敏之作。另外依据陈元靓的《岁时广记》一书记载的故事，这首词是一首干谒词，目的是为了请求对方为自己举荐。
以上《望海潮》原词的正体，就我说起这首词都会注意到，整篇里有不少对仗词句，此外后面的多个变体，包括了秦观以及张元干等词人，这些词作都按该词正体的规则创作。以下整体赏析，仅供分享和学习。
