东南形胜，三吴都会，钱塘自古繁华。
Located in the southeast of China, it was the capital of the dynasty.
The Qiantang River has been flourishing since ancient times.
烟柳画桥，风帘翠幕，参差十万人家。
The willow color of smoke, the gorgeously decorated bridge.
A curtain against the wind, and a green tabernacle.
High and low pavilions, there are about 100,000 families.
云树绕堤沙，怒涛卷霜雪，天堑无涯。
The sand bank was surrounded by tall trees.
The high and swift tide rolled like frost and snow.
The broad river stretches as far as the eye can see.
市列珠玑，户盈罗绮，竞豪奢。
Precious jewels are displayed in the market.
Every household is stocked with silks and satins.
You see, they're all competing for luxury.
重湖叠巘清嘉。有三秋桂子，十里荷花。
The mountains in and around the West Lake are fine and beautiful.
There are autumn osmanthus flowers, and endless lotus flowers.
羌管弄晴，菱歌泛夜，嬉嬉钓叟莲娃。
Listen to the flute fluttering in the air.
People are singing in boats at night.
The old man who fished and the girl who gathered the lotus were smiling.
千骑拥高牙，乘醉听箫鼓，吟赏烟霞。
Thousands of cavalry surrounded the returning officer.
They were intoxicated, listening to ancient songs.
Recite the poem in praise of the beautiful scenery.
异日图将好景，归去凤池夸！
